Introducing @opcua/for-node-red: The Next Generation of OPCUA Integration for Node-RED

@opcua/for-node-red is a completely revamped module designed to enhance your experience of OPC UA within Node-RED. This innovative module is the brainchild of Etienne Rossignon, the CEO of Sterfive and the main author of NodeOPCUA, the leading open-source OPCUA stack for NodeJS.

A New Era of OPC UA Integration​

@opcua/for-node-red represents a significant evolution over the popular open-source module node-red-contrib-opcua, which was excellently developed by Mika Karaila since 2015, along side with Etienne's inception of NodeOPCUA.

Mika's early adoption of NodeOPCUA has laid the groundwork for what has become an essential tool for many low code developers.

Over time, as the needs and capabilities of OPCUA have grown, we recognized the necessity to take OPC UA integration within NodeRed to the next level.
